The summer is here and you’re getting itchy feet already! There’s a whole kingdom to explore, so students, why not pick up a hire car and explore by wheels?
London car hire is particularly popular with students, not to explore the fascinating city (although there is no reason why not), but to drive away and head to the coast, be it a weekend in Bournemouth or Brighton, or a surfing week in Devon or Cornwall or even climbing in Derbyshire or the Lake District.
However, don’t forget that the summer may have only just started but it won’t be long before it’s the autumn and time to start or return to college or university – and time to lug all your belongings to your new temporary home!
Very few students will carry their entire luggage in one bag easily packed for a train trip, so hiring a car one way or a van is an excellent option to consider.
If you are 21 years or older (some car hire companies have started introducing Student deals for 19 year olds and over), it is possible to hire a small to medium car but for many of the faster and larger vehicles you need to be 23 or 25 years old.
